Special Armor DLC for backers now available

As the title says. Go to your backer page and you'll see the steam key to redeem. I tested it and you get the armors right after you come back to life in the real world (first encounter with Aligern and Callistege)

Kind of annoying that it's a 'new game only' set of items that weren't available until 24+hrs after launch :S

As i said, you get it in the very first dialogue you have with Aligern and Callistege after you wake up. So a bit after the creation but way before Sagus.

Oh, you do get the armors even if you're past that point. Just loaded my game up and it dumped them in my inventory.

Too lazy for screenshots, but I'll type the stats up for you real quick.
Willwoven Adamant Regalia: 1 armor, 3 resistance, +10% on esotery attacks, 60 gold
Mindforged Plating: 4 armor, 1 resistance, -3 to might, -3 to speed, -15% to esotery attacks, +10% on weapon attacks, 80 gold
Witcrafted Shapestone Harness: 3 armor, 2 resistance, +1 cypher limit, 70 gold
And all 3 armors are Last Castoff only.

I like how I'm getting the +1 cypher limit not when I equip the armor, but only after I remove it. That's a nice touch, lol

Is the original KS steam key, also the Backer version? To be honest, I backed the game in 2013 , but never played the beta. I did install a beta key from the inexile page though a long time ago. I now am seeing some kind of equipment add on, and imperial key whatever that is.

I am also curious if the box copy will have another game in it, if I want it on GOG. Otherwise, I'm just being mailed a bunch of play pretties in a box.

To be clear, all ive purchased was the steam early access version...can anyone confirm EA version gets the dlc armor?

Also we have confirmed that the armors pop into your inventory no matter where you are, so i guess not?

seriously lame, i basically pre-ordered..how is buying EA any different>? so..i should refund and get the GOG version to access this content...kinda dumb.
If I would have known, definately would have refunded and went gamestop or GOG...doesnt make sense for them to do it this way.

Dude, it's just three armors and not even that good stat-wise. It's not like you're missing that much xD To be sure contact inxile support.
