Numenera is a new creation from Monte Cook made in 2013.
There are easter eggs that reference Planescape: Torment but there are no Story elements.
So it doesn't matter. Planescape: Torment gets a little to get running and still can crash often (Save often)
But You are fine story wise. Not connected.
I backed the Numenera game when the kickstarter campaign started and completely forgot it until the Steam launch (The dev are 2 years late, if I understand correctly)
Anyway, I just wanted to avoid the possible "cross-spoilers" between the 2 games, and now I'm reassured thanks to your input !
