@Deadpool:
But I had to use option to force camera center on character because mouse on borders constantly popup Dock and Menubar grrr. I suggest you do the same otherwise those constant Dock and Menubar popup are game breaking.
If someone knows a trick to avoid it, it's welcome. For reference Im' using El Captain but I don't plan at all upgrade OS for this game.
On my mid 2014 Macbook Pro with OSX 10.11.6 that's not the case ... I need to CMD+Tab to switch to Finder, etc.. So I guess, it's a Sierra issue.
Update:
.change colour profile did not worked for me;
.diable v-sync did not worked for me;
Dowgrade to macOS 10.11 (El Captain) just to test performance - looks like too much pain...
I'm keep playing under bootcamp.
yeah. that would be gr8
I tried x1440 and x1080 - the frame rate is more or less equaly 'not a cake' (which is strange, I was hopping to get some improvement).
I tried to modify application's properties and check the box "Open in Low Resolution". Still the same song =(
Disabling of vsync realy help you to boost fps upto 100, but until you move the camera... then fps drops to 10-15 and fly up again when picture is static.
iMac late 2013, 12GB RAM, i5 3.4GHz, GTX 775, macOS 10.12.3
I have noticed that when I zoom in more framerate goes higher, and areas where framerate drops most are where there is lot of background animation (like Nychthemerons cage, or weird fountain in goverment square..)
Issue:
Constant crash-to-black, usually with audio still running. Unplayable (crashing not just sometimes, but consistently and often).
Causes:
Uncertain. Graphic intensity for sure. Fights. Opening a shop window. But I don't always have to be doing something-- it sometimes crashes if I just stand still and let the game run.
Computer:
MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), Sierra 10.12.3. 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB.
Situation/settings:
No overclock, no mods. Up-to-date drivers. Happens in windowed mode or fullscreen. Happens with V-sync on or off. Happens at low settings (lowest resolution, dynamic cloth off, etc.).
Hope this gets patched soon. The original Torment is high on my list of favorite games, and I was thrilled to back TToN on Kickstarter. Having it sitting on my drive, waiting there for me but unplayable, is driving me nuts. :p
There's perhaps something special on my computer and perhaps linked to still using El Captain. But that's rather bizarre as I don't install much stuff beside some games.
