Games like Kami ??

I am looking for more games like KAMI. Help??

It's not on Steam, but Kami reminded me a lot of an old flash game I used to play long ago, that is called Mad Virus[www.bubblebox.com]. The random factor makes it a bit less tactical than Kami, but the gameplay is similar. :)

A little different but with the same atmosphere: Zen Puzzle Garden[www.lexaloffle.com]. I bought it on IndieGameStand (weekly deal). Unfortunately, this game isn't on Steam.

LYNE is good, but not really like Kami. In a way you might try Cogs or Zen Bound. But these are different too.

Lyne is different but it's an excellent puzzler. Definitely worth a try.

Another really good puzzler is Hexcells Plus. It's game two in a planned trilogy. The first game is also good, but a lot easier.

Hexcell game loved by sight, then buy it. Drench very similar to the kami, because it is one subgenre of "virus."

Sorry - Drench, Hexcell and Lyne are NOT the same - as Kami. I own hexcell, which is like the Widow's Mine game, and Lyne is something else all together. Drench is like a game I had on my pre-Window 3.11 computer - which was better because it was 1 on 1 - and also you could change the colors to whatever you wanted.

I love the feel of Kami and will many times play the puzzle again - trying to get a different color at the end. And I love the sound of Kami. The crinkly paper sound as the bits unfold. These are some of what makes the game so good - and is missing in the other games.

It's true that neither LYNE nor Hexcells have crinkly paper sounds. Both are simple, yet complex puzzle games in the same vein as KAMI though, and I took that to be what the OP was after. If they only want games that are exactly the same, they're not going to find many.

Strata is VERY like Kami! Nice music, clean simple graphics, gentle effects.

SpaceChem. It's not anything like Kami, but it is very geometric and the attention to detail is phenomenal. Plus, playing SpaceChem will make you the smartest person on the plant. Planet. See? Smart enough to catch that at least.
