Everthing's broken?
It gets stuck one the "color grey" logo (can still press buttons but can't see anything) and the few times I can actually get into the new missions, the screen randomly starts flashing lights when I click on anything to the point its an epilepsy danger.

Similar on my end - game suddenly started taking a long time to load (stuck on the screen with the gem) then it snaps forward to the Developed/Published by logos, showing the in game cursor, but is completely unresponsive. Unplayable at the moment unfortunately :(

Ive alt f4'd then verifyed game files and that sometimes fixed it, only to get into the epileptic seizure thing I said at the end
Oh that bites yeah.
I fully uninstalled+reinstalled it & was able to get into a chapter now, will see if it keeps working

Came here because I also cannot get the game to launch. It's stuck on the screen with the gem and eventually Windows gives me a "not responding" message. I've verified the game files. I have Sins of New Wells installed but not Lemurian Phoenix
Figured something out, may not work for everyone. I switched to Compatibility mode when starting off steam and it didn't do any weird things.

Oof, sorry you're having this experience! Safe to say this shoudn't be happening.

Anything you can tell about the specs? Rise shouldn't be a demanding game, although the initial load does take a fair bit.

Also for graphical issues, yeah, try using the Compatibility mode. It basically switches the renderer from vulkan to opengl and that can alleviate some issues even if you have a GPU that supports modern vulkan (the Intel IGPs are giving us the most trouble in that regard).
