Cross-platform Steam Cloud does not work

I am on Chapter 2 on my PC, but when I load the game on my Mac it starts me off on Constriction again at the beginning of the game. This is on version v1.0.2 (2024-11-13).

Steam Cloud is synced with about 16 KB of saved games.

I've reported this through the in-game bug reporter as well.

same here, Mac -> Steam Deck saves aren't carrying over

Windows <-> Steam Deck works fine.
Windows <-> Mac does not work.
Steam Deck <-> Mac does not work.

If you browse your steam clouds, the saves are in two separate folders: https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorageapp/?appid=2716400

It gets worse: if you download the saves from the "WinAppDataRoaming" folder and overwrite your local Mac saves, it loads just fine.

Yeah, unfortunately this is a Steam cloud misconfiguration on our part.

Has this been resolved? I've finished the full game on PC but my Mac still doesn't show my progress.
