Using a 2021 M1 Macbook Pro (16GB)
OS: Ventura 13.4.1
Oddly, when the update started I had to go to my Macbook's System Settings > Privacy and Security > App Management and allow Steam to update files. I thought that Steam was already allowed to do that, so I was surprised I had to turn it on. I'd recommend checking that setting and making sure Steam has permission to update files on your computer.
Unfortunately, we're still looking into this. This seems to be a deeper Godot engine issue and so far we haven't been able to nail the cause.
