Ask as very outsider who contstantley hears since 2015 how gtao is plagued with cheaters.
From their site:
"Fully proactive kernel-based protection system and fast dynamic and permanent scanning of the player’s system using specific and heuristic/generic detection routines for maximum effectiveness."
so true man
I've seen none. I like how people act like IO isn't a thing. Sure it's not full of people, but I'm still not playing alone, I play with those I trust, people I can rely on, no randoms, no mod menu users & no trigger happy idiots, who shoot you on sight. So going public? No thank you, I'll stick with IO.
yep
Public sessions are supposed to be half the fun.
*Room on fire*
"This is fine."
It isnt fine lol. Its great that, unlike standard shooters, the game is vast enough to still provide entertainment elsewhere. But it isnt fine lol.
i know this isn't how it should be, but it's what we have.
That's impossible. If it were true, then Rockstar would be forced to admit that the Battleye implementation were a waste, or at least cover for some other agenda. /me rolls eyes.
I know it's a minority, but ya can regularly and very fast recognize if cheats are enabled for like air vehicles -> helicopters are affected in a negative way and most changes will make it harder until unflyable .. but nobody is flying helicopter, so no one recognizes the air vehicle changes.
There is no server since years, that i join and can stay longer than 30 minutes without recognizing changes, npc-car-draw distance changes (npc cars vanish x metres before you) and other stuff...
If you recognize nothing - you don't know what to look for, you simply overlook it instead of nothing going on - that is what i think, happens.
Also it's the same within the week - nothing outstanding at weekends - they just always cheat.
And if you do something that actually requires skill - people don't know it and think you are cheating while you been the only one not cheating since 2014 .....
So in my mind, the so called "community" is just a bunch of "non-knowers", newcomers and people who give a f....
Everyone who is sane is probably playing on RP servers, on console or gave up - just like 99% of ingame friends gave up.
