Because it's technically meant to be a Solo DLC
It's a mix of Heist preps and Import/Export with a tiny bit of passive income (the safe)
It's not the best business but it's barely acceptable imo. But 3 cars a week IRL time is definitely tough...
If you asking me Doomsday scenario was a last and best dlc , but developers decided to add more and more copy / paste of everything instead to stop updating .
Ez money for Rockstar , ez updates , we have "trailer 1" woooaww , Im so excited to wait 5 years for them to bring something real original , not this PS 3,4,5 ,6 , 7 joke .
doomsday is linear same thing always
casino you can mix it up with different approaches
edit:
I can't comment on the best or worst DLCs myself, as I'm pretty late to the GTA Online game.
All other heists are made for grind , lame stories , copy paste .
Funny thing is that R* working so hard to destroy Cayo little by little instead to work on fixing bugs .
Example - you call Kosatka submarine , and "surprisingly" its not under the sea - its located on the road over your personal vehicle .
Turns out that whole NY moved to LA which makes no sense at all ...
Did Yusuf said the N word? Nope
he's never said that word, that has nothing to do with wokeness.
They create a heist, and after playing them and tweaking them, and they are satisfied with them and have created something that is both fun and engaging someone comes behind them and at each and every stage they add a layer of #$%@. Could be magic Choppers that appear out of nowhere at your alt., could be NPC's spawning in areas you have already cleared as you get off a computer, could be putting a time limit on something that gives you almost no margin of error.
So now they have taken something fun, and engaging and turned it into a 5 layer #$%# Cake.
It's what they do.
You'll get used to it.
I kinda' expect it.
I do like the new DLC, of this 3 Heist (so far ???) there is one I really like and will be doing again the other 2 probably not.
1 out of 3 ain't bad, and everybody has different taste.
I'd call it a good DLC, not great, but not bad in any real way. It's just typical R* and maybe I'm just a little burned out with so many hours in the game.
For a game this old, with a new title on the horizon, I give R* credit for the content they added this time around it did meet my expectations. And the Chop Shop is a nice addition, and for once I like the characters involved.
Now if they come back and fix the stuff they broke with it, like not being able to use the computer in your Night Club Office (as an example) that would be a nice touch.
you can still use the computers on the other levels to do sell missions, so it ain't like the end of the world or anything.
Agreed
Story-line is interesting once.
The silly things friends do in a games are timeless.
In my experience with GTA5 ...
When Xmas comes around, and many people have time off work, if I reunite with players from years gone past, it's the Casino. Parachuting onto the roof, going stealth we tend to do.
There's just so many funny things that happen along the way.
The players that I consider "Trigger Men" never turn down going loud through the front door even if they have not played in years as long as they get to wear some funny mask. Or maybe I should say I seldom turn down the offer to hit it with old friends and $#@^ stuff up. But the funny Heads (mask) gotta be part of the deal.
That reminds me I gotta' set one up for the Holidays, just in case.
