2) I only sold the new turismo which was ~400 right? and it really felt quick and easy, but then it struck me omg only 3 cars a week and the 2 other cars are much cheaper..
3) then i went to test the tow truck - dam, i cant hook anything besides my target car, at least the truck is not on trashmaster level of performance (somehow mechanics of hooking the car felt worse than in singleplayer)
Summary: i probably gonna steal 1 most expensive car a week, do the tow missions till i get i get okay-ish passive income via safe and thats about it. Cop cars, drift tune and some crucial bugfixes is the best part of the update but not the business
Such small problems prove that GTA Online is maintained by a skeleton team and everyone is assigned to GTA VI. That one problem with the same ID for the lift in the autoshop and the salvage yard is hilarious.
For starters, I'm not sure if the cooldown is based on the weekly reset, or if it's based on 7 days from when you sold the particular car.. but I am going to assume it's based on our Thursday update for the sake of this example as that would allow a player to maximize their earning potential at anything 9 days long (Wednesday, the full 2nd week, and then the following Thursday)..
6 days of grinding Dre 3x a day for 4hrs per day: 18m
6 days consisting of 2 Scrap Yard rotations: 2m
9 days of grinding Dre 3x a day for 4 hrs per day: 27m
9 days consisting of 3 Scrap Yard rotations: 3m
at just 4 hrs a day, it's a 9:1 ratio.. if you can call it that because the reality is once you've completed the scrap yard rotations for the week, there's no point in putting in the time any more.. so until the next week, I guess it's back to doing Dre or Casino/Cayo heists.. maybe Auto Shop contracts..
I mean, good or bad - like or dislike, the dedication that Rockstar puts into GTA Online is pretty impressive. There aren't many online games that get updated as consistently as GTA Online and for as long as GTA Online has gotten them. In fact, most online games are lucky to get big updates every two or three years, let alone twice year like GTA Online does. Not to mention, that that's been going on for the entirety of the 8 years that GTA V / Online has been on PC.
