Should I be worried about playing GTA Online?

If you are worried about getting hacked just unplug your ethernet, that is the best way to prevent that from happening.

It is as illegal as walking a red light to cross the road, that still doesn't mean people won't do it.

Want to protect you self then use a vpn and not play in public lobbies.

It doesn't matter if you que there to enter races. Majority of people cheat in these races and will probably crash you anyway.

The question is answered many times, you can be in private session alone and not worry, once you enter any session where even one other people is you can be abused cheated by them or other stuff.

Also keep them awards coming I need a new profile background.

If you do anything with public randoms, there is potential to 'be hacked'.
Queue and race by yourself all you want.

As long as the races are solo races, then you'll be fine.

Queuing for multiplayer races while in invite-only will give you the same results as queuing in a public lobby. I.e, the game will move you into a public lobby, so you can race.
