Activation Required

I purchased GTA V on December 11, 2023, I played it for the first time yesterday. when I first opened the app, I created a Social Club account and linked it to Steam. After activating the game with the CD code, I began playing the story mode. To my surprise, I couldn't find the DLC and Shark Card that I expected. I forgot that these items were meant for GTA Online, causing me some initial panic.

Thinking I might have installed the launcher on the wrong drive (Because my steam library is in D and the launcher is in program files rockstar games, I went to the launcher options and noticed an uninstall app. Without much thought, I uninstalled the game. When I restarted and attempted a fresh start by installing the launcher in the GTA V Steam library(D), I was prompted for the activation code again. This triggered another bout of panic as I had already activated the code on my Social Club account.

In an attempt to resolve the issue, I searched for solutions from yt and google such as file validation and restarting my PC, but nothing seemed to work. Frustrated, I decided to do a "clean reinstall," removing GTA V from Steam and deleting associated folders, some of which I moved to a separate location as a precaution.

After the clean reinstall, the game still prompted me to activate it on my Social Club account. Perplexed, I performed the clean reinstall once more, this time deleting all files. I am currently in the process of reinstalling the game. My understanding that reinstalling would not require reactivation stemmed from online research, where I found information suggesting that the CD code is already linked to Social Club, which, in turn, is connected to my Steam account.

Before all of the above, I attempted to play GTA Online, and they asked me to create a character. Overwhelmed by concerns about my Shark Card and DLC, I didn't create the character at that moment. It slipped my mind that these items were intended for online play. Additionally, I wasn't aware that GTA Online could be accessed independently of completing the story mode or unlocking maps within it. In hindsight, my thought process at that time seems a bit perplexing. It was this confusion that led me to the decision to uninstall and reinstall the launcher, as detailed in the previous paragraph.

For reference:
My Social Club username is Brnddvee.
It is linked to my Steam account.
I do not have another Social Club or Steam account.

The shark Card money becomes available after 72 hours or if you reach a certain rank, then you can radeem the stuff on the property pages that will have a golden star 🌟 and free next to it.

As for the activation. Uninstall social club and also delete folders that use it then relaunch the game.

How do I uninstall social club and that folders?

Program files where all you stuff is installed ofc. right click on folder and delete where it is located also.

So my gta v is reinstalled, where should I put my launchers? in program files or in my steam library..?

You need to delete all existing folders not place them in X places, most stuff is under documents. Delete all Rockstar folders you can find then reinstall the game.
