For those who don't know what's going on, watch this.

This anti-consumer company screwed us all yet again. First they screwed the Linux gamers over last year. Now they shut down this project. What a way to start the new year. Cuckstar really has become the communist fun police. Unless they're making money from someone else's work, they shut it down. They police all the fun out of their games and shut down the fun.

People really must stop supporting this POS company.

Did you also get it from Reddit link? I have it downloaded but I haven’t transferred the files to the base game yet. Someone claimed to have gotten a virus but idk how true that is.

I found it on Archive site, it was posted on 2 january. The base and FiveM versions could be downloaded directly as an archive, but I can't be sure about viruses (I mean who knows), so I'll try to search for options to check the archive before extracting it. Is there a site that would allow checking ~12gb archive (since VirusTotal won't) ?

rockstar should have added the possibillity to go to new york by taking a plane , the airport actually is useless , the prison is useless , the hospital is useless , the police stations are useless , if you want to enter a building you have to load , in gta san andreas some building were open without loading , in gta V everything needs a loading time to enter , it s just bad , RDR2 is the best they could do , and nobody plays the online , it will be the same for gta 6 , maybe the story mode will be good , but rockstar is very bad at making online games , no need to be hyped for 6 , it will be a disaster

I mean... Even if it (most likely) will be a slop - Rockstar will get a bank from sales anyway, solely by the hype factor. They simply can't lose, and they know that.

BTW I installed Liberty City mod and it works flawlessly, wouldn't be surprised if this mod would give me more good emotions than the entire GTA6...

But, along came Rockstar to shut down the fun. Don't be fooled about GTA6 making bank like GTA5 did. Rockstar has done the community a hell of a lot of wrongs since then and it's turned a lot of people off from buying the game. The fact that they shut the preservation project down shows just how much Rockstar despises their community having fun without a price tag being attached to it. They shut it down out of sheer spite and malice. The community can't have any fun without Rockstar milking and/or ruining it. Meanwhile cheaters run rampant in their game, even after they added an anti-cheat. But hey, gotta shut down that project people are having fun with. That's a serious priority. How dare they have fun without paying Rockstar.

Reading this actually got me rethink this again:
Did Rockstar shut down this mod that was in work for 6 years and went radio-silence after it? No explanations and no mentioning of this event at all by them? Yea, I guess..? And all of sh!t like that is probably written in their EULA (one way or another) that you're accepting to play the game, so technically - you're agreeing with bullsh!t like that...
