Auto shop loading issues
Everytime im on a big server with alot of players (last one i was on, only had 5 ppl playing, half an hour later was full), i try to either enter my autoshop, or exit to deliver a vehicle, and i get stuck on an eternal loading screen with the black screen and a little white rotating circle in the corner.

Is there any way to get around this or what?

Do you have your own music loaded into the game?
try these steam launch options

-high -threads 11 -nothreadtimeout

Use task manager / check your total cores/threads, and modify accordingly, or rather don't use threads /

i have a 5900x, i have alot of cores, and yes i have my own music on a playlist, its not normally a problem, but ill try swapping radio stations to normal in-game stuff in future next time i rock up to the autoshop.

what do you mean by steam launch options? is that a command prompt line or something?

Interesting suggestion.

OPs issues are likely a modder breaking script host. But if you stay stuck for a while, even when the script is fixed (modder leaves), you will stay stuck.

This suggestion might actually fix the last part.

thats your problem
no cpu or gpu can fix that problem

and why 5900x though when 5800x3d is way better for gaming

Usually, this helps you alt+ tab and come back in, without needing resource monitor to suspend GTA5.exe - :) it helps a lot when loading in too, and general gameplay,

It's when you look at GTA V in your steam library, and right click the game, then go to properties, then in the general tab/ you just scroll down and add those commands,

i added 300GB of Shortcuts to my music folder, and this is when my game did NOT load - even with these commands. So i removed all my 'music' from in-game and then loaded in again.
this game cannot handle bulk content not from R*. It refused to load me in with this much music; :/ so it was my loss, but i don't care, I can alt tab/ use multimedia keys to keep it playing external without it affecting this game. :)

All the best,

Try just these two for now

i would use an outside streaming program to play music, but the game itself forces you to listen to music when on missions and overrides stuff. I havent tried turning off the music volume in the settings however, that might work no?

I alt tab out and wait maybe 20 seconds then back to it. If I wait to long it might time me out, if I go too soon it might just keep circling. Someone up there said 10 seconds, I have not found a science to it yet but often works.
