-Improvements to PC loading times *Thanks to t0st for his contributions around this part of today's title update
Improvements to- yes. But you are still at the mercy of the p2p /sync network with -vpn using, hotspot using, cans and string using, whitelist using, bandwidth throttle using- potato using- other players in your lobby. 30 minute load times could be *something completely different. Certainly never experienced that here.
/goodluck
edit - *by that I mean hung processes/tab'd off while loading, security/access issues, os/update issues, cloudsync (don't use it) and other things. Not saying people didn't experience long loads. Some users I worked with did manage to narrow some of their issues (at the time) down to other background programs. Some others would tab out because it took 2 minutes to load, and then it would take even longer. Again, could of been many things - and yes, even on top end hardware' this silliness could happen. Hooray for new driver, new apps, new os updates, new game updates, new hardware, and problems.
Sadly it was like that for single player as well. So crazy it drove me off entirely. Hoping it's fixed but thought I'd ask before testing.
You'd think, but some times you can be on the most powerful gaming computer in the world, (and I was pretty close...) and still have load times close to forever, and I did.
SSD, top end titan card, don't recall which one since I keep upgrading. Top end processor. Max ram.
Infinite load time in this game only.
Thus the "did they fix this game's problem' as the topic.
yes and i7 3770k was the top end processor of 2012
and the maximum amount of many micro itx motherboards with 2 ram slots from 2014 was 16gb
just do a clean install of the game on the secondary ssd
Seems like I'll have to if I want to find out if they fixed it.
and there are still random server crashes, or hackers can kick/crash you, etc...
