Dont have a control folder and user.xml file

Under the path C:\Users\USERPROFILE\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\Profiles\USERPROFILE I only have the cfg.dat and SGTA files.

Currently have a problem with the base gta keybinds not saving in FiveM and someone told me to check the user.xml file, but well thats not there lol

Right click in the folder > new > text document

Rename it to "user.xml"

Idk why u dont have one, but that might work.

but I would still need the contents of the missing files

Not necessarily. U can fill it by changing a setting or keybind or whatever and seeing if it saves.

I dont play fivem tho, so i have no idea where they save it.

That XML file only exists if you have some controls changed from default and that's where your custom ones get stored.

What exactly is you problem? Also fivem client likely has it's own bindings file somewhere else.

So the main problem is within FiveM, its that the Base GTA keybinds dont save and reset to default as soon as I back out of the menu
