Why is there so many out of bounds spots in GTA 5?

There's so many spots where a small portion of the floor, ceiling, or wall has no collision and you can go right through it. It's actually kind of funny how many of these there are. This game has existed for over 10 years and people are still finding new ones.

Why are there so many of these? Did Rockstar remove collision from obstacles that they thought players would never run into, in order to save resources or something?

Most of them are fixed online (took like 6 years).

And by fixed, i mean that theres still no collision, but theyve added an instakill area right behind them.
