PS4 controller lag

My controller just started acting really laggy in game randomly. It doesn't register some button presses, has noticeable input lag, and likes to hold controls for longer than it should. This has never happened before, and it's making the game unplayable. Does anybody know how to fix it?

I tried disabling windows event logger (which broke my wifi, so I had to re-enable it) disabling V-Sync and going to windowed borderless. I also turned my graphics down, even though I'm well under half of the Vram used up.
