Will an RTX 3050 ti be enough to run GTA 6 with low graphic settings?
I know this is a silly question to ask since there aren't any verified specs yet and it's still a ways off from being released on console before PC, but I want to get a general idea of what could possibly be the minimum required specs for GTA 6. Unless some of the specs weren't leaked a while ago and if anybody knows anything about them?

I only have a rtx 3050 ti laptop at the moment because I don't have a lot of money to spend on buying a decent PC build, so I'm kind of stuck with what I have.

If you can play a PS5 and Xbox Series X/S game on pc, then you'll be able to play GTA 6.

Yeah, but GTA 6 is going to be a graphically-demanding mid gen open world game.

Doesn't matter. It's still going to be limited by the console that it's built on, so any PS5 and Xbox X/S game will be just as demanding.

Basically, if you can run a game like Cyberpunk 2077, then you'll be able to run GTA 6.

As far as those consoles go, the lowest spec console, the Xbox Series S, has just about 8 GB of VRAM and my PC has only 4 GB. And since updates are going to happen, it's probably going to take up more over time.

it'll probably require minimum 8GB VRAM on 1080p low
maybe you can wait for a Switch port :smilepoop:

Well, damn. Guess I'm going to have to cross my fingers and hope I can run it at 30 fps and downscale everything else. Wonder if turning on DLSS would help?

I think the 3050ti can run smoothly in medium image quality

I have same GPU as you and believe or not, in full public sesion i am not even getting 60 fps anymore... :( so gta 6 no chances, especialy that you need to wait 2 more years

well as you pointed out, it is a stupid question indeed.
no need to stop tho, its steam discussion after all

to write something contributive aswell, i want to point out that laptop graphiccards are no match for the same gpu on a dectop pc.

a quick check online shows your rtx3050 ti mobile has bareley 1/4 of the performance of an rtx4090 and only half compared to an 1080 ti, which is 7 yearls old.

so figure out what this means for a rockstar game that will be poorley optimized as they all were, and for which not even a releasedate is anounced yet.

maybe it will take another 5 years, so i guess start saving money for a new pc.
and as a personal advice, maybe dont chose a laptop. the advantag of carrying it around is nothing compared to the performance loss :/
