Have you tried -nobattleye in the gta5 game launch options in steam?
Or put -nobattleye in a commandline.txt in the game folder?

The game also updated today so - mods may again be broken unless you downgrade.
Fun stuff.

i've tried both methods of using -nobattleeye and sadly neither worked. any advice on how to downgrade my game a version or 2?

Rockstar did another update today, and yet again f*cked it up. This isnt an issue with the mod, this is an issue with the update as it has caused all sorts of problems.
You're gonna have to do the same thing as the rest of us trying to use mods...wait until it gets fixed I'm afraid

Downgrade works fine here. Also confirmed both the -nobattleye, and the unchecking in the launcher both work here. I am making sure to close the launcher after unchecking though, and verifying it isn't open in the background.

My profile has some .exe's - that is all I used (and 'current' scripthookv). Not in mood to test with a 'mods' folder and additional stuff at this time. Repeat game updates, testing gets old when.... it works fine here. -.-

Updates possibly outdating/breaking old/fav mods - that's a different story.
/goodluck

Could someone please link me to a good/working downgrade of GTA V, please? I'm sick to death of the CONSTANT issues I have with every Rockstar game via steam.

GTA V now won't even open up because it's "already running".

You literally download the gta5.exe, and replace the one in your game folder. Downgraded. (this of course assumes you are on a very recent/working version of the game and not a modded copy from a year ago with outdated mods/etc)

Also delete the GTA5-be.exe I think its named. It will also block your downgraded .exe, so it needs to be removed and blocked in steam settings. I only unchecked the Battleye updates, no commandline parameters.
