Their response to Luke Ross adding VR support to their game while they completely ignore adding HMD support of any kind to their games kind of spells out that they don't deserve anyones support at this moment in time.

I'll give a crap about what R* produces when they start supporting VR.
VR needs a GTA game, and they just sit there doing NOTHING.

You have an entire industry waiting on you to open the floodgates..... and you do NOTHING!

Get some people with vision in that company again. instead of greedy DEI hires.

Same thing with Halo. Except afaiac, they are dead to me. Because a similar post to this pointing out how some random internet person has to embrace VR support on their behalf... ends up in being permanently banned due to lack of respect.

Your lack of respect for VR makes my lack of respect PALE in comparison.

Personally, I kind of think the whole AAA industry going down coincides with your apathy to embrace technology.

I'm not buying and playing Flat games, because I'm waiting for you to embrace HMD support.

I'm not buying VR Only games because they are shallow, hand waving gimmicks with no content beyond waving a controller around.


I'd love to open my wallet again and start supporting you all. But you have to support me by embracing those HMDs, and give me something a little better than Alternate Eye Rendering.


In the off-chance one of them sees this, and gets the ball rolling.
3rd person has to be an option for VR gaming. If you find yourself forcing the game into First Person Only, motion controllers only. Go back to the drawing board until, Gamepad VR in 3rd Person is an option that runs along side that First Person Motion option.

OR rather, The HMD does stand on its own. It doesn't need motion controllers to provide its upgrade. So don't think you're stuck having to make a "VR ONLY" game to embrace VR and GET IT DONE!

Even if you limited to Gamepad VR. The VRAF Echochamber that currently holds VR down, would gobble it up. They'd complain about not being able to use their hands to pick up a newspaper blowing in the wind..... but they'd still gobble it up with a gamepad none-the-less. Because the "Content" of the game would quickly overshadow the lack of "interaction"



You know, if it wasn't such a pain in the A to downgrade GTA to get that Luke Ross Mod going, That's what I'd be doing RIGHT NOW.

To be honest, I think it's going to suck.
Even when V Online was earning them 1 BILLION a year (don't know if they still get that amount) they didn't give a single ♥♥♥♥ about anything.
No quality of life updates, no fixes for gamebreaking bugs, no investment in dedicated servers, no retrocompatibility with new content and old content.
They simply didn't care.

Now imagine VI Online, the absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of an inflated economy, their inability to fix bugs or add anything to make players' lives easier.
Hell we can't even equip a tie with certain shirts right now (god forbid you have a female character, you can't wear a tie without a jacket because thats somehow a crime against humanity? even though rockstar gives that rule the middle finger and constantly makes new outfits with illegal ties applied to them).

Dawg, rockstar was never known for its good online experience, their single player games' where they do their best.

applied in development, reduces the time it takes to create games with less cost, its always better for any game
company to invest into Artificial intelligence into their engines instead of online services, since it creates a black hole in an investment in the long term.

Online services are only profitable when in good terms(Height of public interests)(security), when anyone hacks their game they become a programming slave.

I fear some people are under mind control slavery
because they played the game in their youth,
so they keep creating based on fond memories and reasons of their own to fill voids, so the developer's keep
feeding off the hacking communities soul.

I know the fatter a pig gets, it will want to work less to eat, so the redundant applied science of animal behavior predictability could have similarity into future video game development in general logic.

Remember all those AAA games with recycled animations, some never evolved because they just kept getting easy money for low effort.

Single player will be fine, online will be made for 13 y/o's and follow the guidelines of PG-13 (pegi-16).

Contextual substances will be allowed so long as player can't use them, how they got around this with 5 and bongs is because it was in single player and is almost 100% socially acceptable within the US, Canada, other WESTERNIZED parts of the world.

Contextual bewbage will be allowed so long as player can't do it. Why we can see "bare bewbbies" in vanilla unicorn, yet can't have female toons do the same, even with cheats oddly... Yet large fully exposed dood with a flippy all out in the open is a completed texture within the game from using cheats.

Contextual slurs will be allowed so long as players can't also do them, but only in the street form of friendly conversation, and only by those who are similar to Franklin and Lamar unless they wish to pull a "look at the corny X trying to play Y" skit... Censored chat in an M rated game because ADULTS get OFFENDED by PIXELS OF LIGHT ARRANGED in certain PATTERNS on SCREEN they are capable of turning OFF or... now with the inclusion of REMOVING TEXT CHAT IN-GAME, never having to have there eyegyners blinded again.

Swearing will ofc be allowed, but just as in the game now, censored because its bad if widdle (Timmy "Sharkcard" Botboi) says F... Just like on steam forms, within the forms of an M rated game... Logical. Also, see above.

The only thing that can change my mind is if they have some one yelling a "race based" slur at a Cuban, Haitian or otherwise, who is also not similar to person slur was directed at, in the ONLINE portion of the game, can prove to me they aint full woke. But that will never happen, because then it would be grounds for players to do such too, referencing the scene as excuse.

Hell... They made Luchadora intentionally hispanic just to avoid "CULTURAL APPROPRIATION" shouts from Karins. I would say I'm shocked I aint hearing about Karins screaming over her hair style, but by Karins logic, so long as its not Hu'Yte people doing the appropriating, its ok.

I've been playing since Vice City. And although the series isn't what it once was, there is one aspect that has never changed and really needs to; the gameplay. I was sick of GTA mission structure 10 years ago and GTAO has really tired me out on it. Aside from that, I've never modded but Rockstar deleted my first online character. I suffered from a glitched biker business that had infinite supplies and they said I was cheating and deleted my character. That was how they chose to address that. Eventually I decided to try again and build up a second character, but only after 3 more of my friends had built PCs, and I never gave Rockstar another dollar for the "experience". With the existance of GTA+ Subscriptions, it's only a matter of time before weaponized vehicles go behind that paywall, and when that happens I certainly won't be here playing the franchise anymore.

This is the same model that valves been using concerning third party sites for CS GO/CS2 and CS betting sites. While they have the power to stop them, it would hurt their bottom line so they do nothing, because, and im loosely quoting valve from a public interview, "there is no oversight or anyone forcing their hand, so they wont act'
