It's because Rockstar's laziness. I know, it's silly we can't control it from the interaction menu (the M key menu). Just look at how the menus. Would be a nice QoL improvement, but Rockstar isn't about QoL. They're about work less earn more. XD

You can change in your house. Simply go to the wardrobe, take off all your stuff, and then save that as a clothes set.
