She is not a main protagonist in any way or form. And she is portraid as a classy lady, probably put there because of blood line (like a queen). There is nothing wrong with that if it comes across as extremely rare (like in this case). And since Sopranos is so expertly written there is good reason to put here there which is critical and why it works and does not just feel sqeezed in because of quota like everything else these days (and why something like that would work in a GTA game also if it was well written):
"Hoping to meet Don Vittorio (the Family's official patriarch), he soon learns that Vittorio is now senile and that the official boss is his son in law, Mauro, who is currently in prison; this leaves Annalisa in charge. Tony is surprised to find a woman as head of a Mafia clan in Italy, and is distracted both by his attraction to her and his offense towards a woman boss. "
But she is not a street gangster (like is the characters in every GTA game) running around jumping fences, pulling people out of cars, shooting police, intimidating other people and getting into fist fights. Honestly discussing here often feels like trying to talk to a bunch of children who have no concept of anything.
Yeah, you're just wrong bud, sorry.
You said. "Who are the female gangsters in the sopranos?"
Dont move the goal posts.
Yes she is really a total bad ass gangster.
I don't understand why I even try to argue basic things with children. It is completely pointless.
The funny thing is that this was actually an extremely good example of really good writing of a main character (Tony) and portraying him as being offended at seeing a woman as a step in boss for her brother and one reason why Sopranos and other classics like these are such masterpieces and why they where a great inspiration for Dan Houser when he wrote the script for the later GTA games before he now left Rockstar. Great scripts where the consistency and quality always had the front seat. Something that is almost impossible to do these days. The writers of Sopranos only cared about making the characters as believable as possible, without any political agenda steering them. Everything is done to serve the art and its purpose, not the reverse. That is the only way you can even aspire to making something that is truly a masterpiece.
Trying to explain these things though is like trying to throw pearls to swine. Just enjoy your shooting gallery. I know you don't care about a credible story or beliviable characters so it is really pointless to try to argue.
lol dude she has more power than any of the families in the US combined, did you miss that part, or is it your brain that refuse to accept this fact. Tony is intimidated by her. She is the most gangster of the gangsters of anyone in that series.
Yes Tony is really intimidated by her and it is exactly like you say and you say it so well:
"she is the most gangster of the gangsters of anyone in the series".
Good luck with your life.
Thanks I guess?
