By the way, the one I'm referring to (taken from my wishlist)

plus the picture pasted over.
herp derp.
Also the game is around 50 GB on next gen i think.
You can NOT know this, PC version of titanfall is huge compared to consoles because of all the uncompressed audio on PC
Also most of the steam games you download is not compressed in any way, you download the game files directly.
If you are talking about pre-loads then it's the decoding process because when you preload a game on steam every single file is encrypted
Damn! That FPS mode and higher res textures gigantically increased the game's total size from the last gen version.
Seriously, most places don't get internet like that, even cities.
True, and the chances of someone downloading this game who happens to have Fibre is even less likely. I live in Austin TX and only parts of the city have Fibre. And Austin is one of the few cities that DO have access to it. Not to mention, you can have the quickest internet in the world, if the server you're downloading it from is poor, you're not going to download it very quickly. I seem to max out at around 2.5mb/sec on Steam, but am capable of much faster speeds, for example.
Either way, this picture is so obviously fake.
Wow, you still live in the 90's?
No, just BT are asses to the local area. The government did a big roll-out of fibre optic to rural communities. They have actually upgraded our local exchange, but for some reason I still can't get fibre optic. 100KB/s isn't as bad as it sounds, but with games being 30GB+ to download I will need to keep downloading for weeks. Fortunately My girlfriend get's around 2MB's at her house, so I do any big downloads at hers. The UK has some pretty atrocious average internet speeds outside of London.
