Is the social a requirement for Gta5?

Freakin Social club / Uplay and GFWL is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and should be banned from steam ...

You will just need to sign in with Social Club, I'm pretty sure GTA V will use Steamworks

In the case of GTA V, if you have played GTA Online, Social Club will be the bridge to transfer the character of any console to PC. I think will be Steamworks. Social Club is not that bad man

Uplay and origin is fine too ... but i wont use them ... those platforms are only there to split the gamers ...
why should i have to maintain 3 friendlists?
Why do i have to login Twice to play a game?
Why the hell should i support a platform i do not like and gives me NO benefits?

If they would at least have a proper support but not even that ... everything the support is allowed to say is "nah we cant do that"

If they want to ruin pc gaming they are on the right way ... Delayed pc release, Social platfrom which nobody needs but everybody is forced to use! no support !

I had to buy freakin Maxpayne 3 TWICE! because some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ used the key from the last collectors box (he made a photo i guess) and the support didnt help me! if that happens on steam they will simply remove the game from the account of the thief and give it to you if you have a proof of purcase.

Rockstar get your ♥♥♥♥ together and remember who bought your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ games before the PS2!!

Delaying PC release isn't ruining pc gaming. They delayed it to ensure it wasn't a sh!t port.

Why didn´t they develop the game for the pc in the first place?

to develop something for a restrcted paltform and then trying to expand it to the maximum is just stupid... they should have developed the whole thing and then cut it down to console specs.

There won't be any servers, it's a peer to peer matchmaking, it would be hell on earth to remake the netcode for dedicated servers because it's so detailed.

Because that's the only way we (old gen gamers) gonna get the progression for online transfered to PC.
Also again, there are a lot of in game scripts that are connected with social club, "selfies, money, RP (XP) , and many many other things.

Without social club it would be piss easy to cheat and get ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of money and RP in online so be thankful.

as detailed as any other server software ... look what happened to WoW ... free servers everywhere.

I've never had a single issue with Social Club. You see it once during the startup and that's it.

They publish it on Steam that you can purchase it here too. They need Social Club for your Account transfer and that they can safe your progress and btw (Sure ... and there is no way to set up servers for character transfer.... give me a break... ) you mean they dont set up servers for it? (transfer 2.0 via toilet xD?). And last they dont want VAC because they have their own programs.

And this is why GFWL was a good idea.

If Steam wasn't owned by Valve but instead was a completely independent retail store without links to developers/publishers, UPlay and Origin would likely not exist. Ubisoft and EA are only trying to repeat Valve's success.

There is nothing wrong with Social Club, what was wrong was GFWL.
