Race World Record Times are Hacked!

So i was playing a race with 3 laps and it said the world record time for all 3 laps was 11.61 seconds. Um i don't know what car goes that fast obviously a hacked car and it's the same for all the races, the world record time is at an impossible time that no one can beat. So whats the point in even racing anymore if no one can beat the time.

Loads are hacked have a look at the marathon leader boards when in Single Player, they take over 10 minutes some 30 minutes to complete, the top scores are like 1 second.

Yea, the time for 1 lap was 11.61 seconds, I think people use some sort of "teleport to mouse" hack, It might be nice if they were reset occasionally, so its possible for some other people to get the item or two that comes along with setting that record.

they need to just perm ban the people who have cheated times, and clear their entry.

That's a shame. I guess there will always be cheating in them regardless, as someone can just cheat by 1 second to surpass whoever holds a legit record.

yeah i agree they should reset the records that are not possible even for the fastest car with all the upgrades.

Not completely true, myself and a friend played online day 1 and didnt do the race stuff for a day or 2. When we did get around to it I actually got a world record for a 21 sec lap in Criminal Records unlocking the blonde tattoo. Mostly just bragging i know and 2 or 3 days later is still pretty much day 1.

majority of not every single world record in GTA V races are hacked and glitched.

i assume you wanted to get award and unlock that tattoo by setting world record. Sorry but without hacks/mods you wont be able to do it. Unless RockStar decides to do annual spring clean record wipe.

hopefully they do. it kinda ruins it for the people that don't have the award.

Happens with every game with leaderboards etc. Just drive for your own amusement, and compare yourself only to your friends.

i did 8 races in storymode each race had a world record less than a second - like 0.043 in a 1 minute race ,so it must be a case of cheaters stealing the world record off cheaters , over time the record has got so close to zero how the hell don't rockstar do something
