Story mode - Map and Progression Issue

Hi there,

I completed mission 56 (The Ballad of Rocco) in story mode, I then decided to launch online for the first time, as I was doing this it froze, upon restarting the game in story mode however I have two issues-

1: I cannot continue the storymode missions

2: Most of the map (roads etc.) have disappeared as if not explored - yet the buldings, shops etc. are there.

I have restarted the game numerous times, and I have verified integrity of game cache through steam.

I also loaded an earlier save from about 9 missions back and it worked OK with full map etc - but would rather not have to do all the missions again.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I had the exact issue after a certain mission. Where the house icon's on all three characters vanished and the story mode would't continue, strangers and freaks would not appear either.

What I did to fix this was made a quick save then do something to force a save. Such as go Golfing, Tennis, Taxi Missions what ever... Once it saves press pause and load the game up again but not from your quick save but from the actual save file.

It seems to be a collision problem.

_ If you see road blur and you can go through: The 3D models are probably missing but the LODs still visible. If it's the case I don't see any solution but re-install. Maybe do some research but I don't think it's fixable other way.

_ If you see nothing: The game can't find the 3D models and LODs either. That could be a temporary problem of the game. I already experience that. I was in the "matrix" and I couldn't move or go anywhere. I rebooted my PC and it worked for me.
