female character bodies

I don't understand why the female characters of gta online have such manly bodies. Shoulders are too broad and the breasts are too small.

Even the strippers, hoookers, and beach goers npcs have better bodies. Lol i noticed that the npc women on the beach even have some breast jiggle going on. I'm guessing that rockstar designed the female characters this way due to lazyness. Either way, it is disappointing to not have the option of creating a female character with better proportions.


At this point, the female characters are pretty much transvestites.

I agree. I don't see why there isn't way to legitmately change your appearance after character creation/transfer.

Pretty judgemental there aren't you. Verging on nasty. There are other reasons that males role play as female avators other than the negative reasons you think they do. The issue with people doing so isn't with the people doing so, it's with you.

I'm pretty sure female avatars were introduced for the vocal female gamers, that didn't want to play as men the whole time. I'm yet to see a compelling reason, beyond supposed reasonable dismissal, why playing as a woman as a man is anything but ego stroking and objectifying..

So to balance this out. Do the female and male characters in the creation screen have a different amount of custom options? Or is there equallity in such matters?

Maybe the OPs' problem is more with his inherited outcome from parents choice, more than a lack of customisation... But to be honest I really don't see how it effects game play, or how it would really affect well adjusted people...

I'm sure you don't consider yourself perfect looking, and don't give ur parents a hard time for it...

Woah.. im all for character customization and i gotta say im hardly satisfied with my male character's body, so i had to pick my clothing accordingly.. but...

Hasnt anyone here heard of hitboxes? There has to be some consistancy. Imagine having a fatazz character and someone shot you in the arm but it was too fat and it didnt count as a hit when you're sniping... that would be pretty darn stupid

I Don't quite agree with female proportions but I am incredibly disappointed by Rockstar choosing not to allow players to customize a character to their liking throughout.

I SOO wish this game used a system like APB:Reloaded. there were only basic shapes patterns, but a good engine and editor behind it, using triangles, ARTISTS make advanced car graphix, clothes, and billboards. with this, it had a pretty intense customization system for players.

Another thought, did they change the female model so scripters couldnt simply use the hooker skin, and script a shirt off. i dont have any real idea how scripts apply, but ive heard they were worried about this before, fast patching most of the topless glitches i've ever heard about.

I often play as female characters when given the choice usually for perverted reasons. With that said there are times I do not find the female attractive but I still choose her. There may be a variety of reasons for this but I am under the belief it has something to do with overexposure.
Growing up more often than not videogames/movies/TV that I played/watched had male leads. I have played as so many men from Mario to Megaman, from Max Payne to Dante, from Gordon Freeman to Master Chief, from that guy to some other guy. Then there were games like Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Perfect Dark, Dino Crisis, and few others that offered female characters that felt almost foreign/exotic to me - not so much sexual.

Now look at GTA V. A campaign with not only three main male characters, but most of the antagonism also comes from men. I am sure you can see that it’s not completely far-fetched a male is going to play as a female when jumping into the online mode because he's bored with masculinity.
