I can tell.
The game clearly says that I can save cars in the house garage. And I found a garage for sale, but it isn't giving me the option to purchase it.
Not even this. You can't save cars in single player. The character's personal vehicles (this includes Franklin's motorcycle, even though it isn't marked) are the only vehicles that will respawn and keep their upgrades.
Then why does the game say I can save vehicles in the garages? It told me that 3 times, with Micheal, Franklin, and Trevor.
When the game says save, it means until you take it out. Single Player garages work just like every other GTA game. If you don't bring the car back and park it back in the garage, it disappears.
because the game is a buggy mess. you *can* store vehicles in there but if you drive them at all after that they are very liable to disappear randomly.
Not helpful. I can't read that.
i know at one point in the story michaels family leaves and his son texts to tell you he took the car. He's talking about the default car that respawns, but i'm pretty sure at this same time a sports car i had in the garage was also gone.
