Mark getaway location not working

For the FIB heist i gotta find a fire truck and a getaway vehicle. I have found numerous vehicles that i can use as a getaway car, however when it says i need to phone Michael or lester and press the option : ''Mark getaway location'' this option doesnt show up when calling Micheal or Lester. I have the right vehicle but cant mark the location... Any ideas would be appreciated.

I think you need a "sufficient" car with enough seats (so e.g. two-seater sportscars won't work), the getaway location can't be too close to the heist location and can't be on or directly at a road.

As far as I remember that was actually a bit weird, as sometimes you'll see correspondent hints about this, sometimes you won't.

I have found noumerous 4 seaters which i could all use for the mission but no option to mark the car.

You might be too close to the heist area, i found the LSC area near Lester factory to be good.

Ive tried alot of areas that werent remotely close to the heist area. But I will keep trying several locations since i think this is the issue. Thx for the info!
