What are the BEST GTA Games in order?

GTA 5 was my first gta game. What one would you say to play next? Why?

if you have problems with older games, than the only i recomend you to play is Sandreas, if not play gta vice city the ost is so good. sandreas have a gameplay pretty close to Gta V, vice city is more old and has less features.

gta v > vice city> sandreas> they are equally good. in my opnion, and the only gta of the series i don't like, is Gta Iv it is newer than gta Sandreas, but is Worse don't have planes, have less features Etc a older game having less feature is normal, but a new? well anyway this is what i recomend to you.

Vice City is best in history thnx to epic main character Tommy Vercetti was epic start to finish, worst is GTA IV thnx to the accent of the main character urgh...

GTA > GTA V > San Andreas > GTA I > VGTA III > GTA II > Vice City > Chinatown Wars > Watch Dogs

GTA V is a product of evolution. You probably won't enjoy older GTAs as they'll feel outdated for you if your first experience was with GTA 5. Gameplay-wise, GTA IV is the closest to GTA V and won't feel as outdated as the rest, but that is a shame because they're wonderful games.

With that said, I'd normally recommend you should move to San Andreas → Vice City → GTA IV, but for the reasons above, I'd consider moving to IV first.

Only the Console and PC versions!

GTA V - Has everything from all of them combined.

2.

GTA San Andreas - Kinda like GTA 5, smaller but it had more cities (San Francisco, Las Vegas & Los Angeles), was the the first GTA with Jetpacks, Jets etc.

3.

GTA III - Nice world and style, story was darker and it was the first GTA in 3D.

4.

GTA Vice City - Miami in the 80s - you'll like it or not.

5.

GTA IV - Pretty boring map compared to the other ones, bad performance
