Gta V for PC how to activate Night Vision?
i bought the Night Vision.
i equip then.

Theres suppose to be a key binding but for reasons mine will just move the NVGs down infront of the characters eyes and not turn on. its like f5 or something like that and my inventory screen in the interaction menu doesnt have an accessory tab, the style tab does but it just lets me helmet visor up/down and still wont turn on any NVG or TVG i have.

same i used to be able to turn on my NVG by holding down the right dpad button on my ps4 controller. even when on my jetbike. now it only works in interactive menu.... this is lame.

Ah i figured it out, for example if you have the quad lens helmet on go to Interaction menu, go to style then accessories scroll down to the helmet then press space. and you have to not be in a mission (like master data for example)

One of the f keys does it (as in f7 etc) but I remember you have to hold it, can’t quite remember which one it is though

Holding F11 works for the quad-lens thermal vision helmet and for the dual-lens nightvision helmets from the Smuggler's Run update, to flip the visor up or down.

It's a bit silly though, because you need to first go to the interactive menu > accessories > helmet and select it, then activate it with 'space'.
But the activate/deactive option only appears, when the visor is flipped down to begin with.


I have no idea, if this also works with the old (and obsolete) night vision goggles from Ammu-Nation, which were part of the Heist update.

once you activate in your interaction menu you are able to just hold f11 to bring it up and down with the thermal on
