What's So Hard About Flying a Plane?
I'm just playing A Titan of a Job and cannot go more than one or two games without some idiot crashing the plane on takeoff or landing or even mid flight. It's ridiculous.

If you don't have the internet to fly, don't fly.

If you don't have the FPS to fly, don't fly.

If you don't have the mental capacity to fly, don't fly.

If you don't have the flying skill to fly, go practice flying in Freemode.

No one forces you to fly the Titan so please don't fly it if you're going to crash it and waste everyone else's time.

It's really not difficulty to fly/land in GTA V. Just have to practice a bit.

I don't find it difficult either which is why players who crash the mission critical things make me so mad.

You mean the Vulcan?

I haven't heard of a Titan in the game.

no, the Titan. C130 equivalent.

I've only crashed it once on landing because I couldnt' see a nearly invisble invulerable wooden light pole. Othewise I'd imagine they're probably trying to fly with M&K combo, I keep a controller next to me for flying or stunt driving.

Ohhh gotcha.

The big one with the door at the back aye?

I can fly that pretty well.. I think it's easier to fly than the smaller aircraft lol.

i've failed the hyrda heist setup mission so many times because some fool crashes , i think people dont realize that the number pad is used to control , and try to fly with wasd and the mouse . i just keep a controller plugged in and grab that when i need to

I guess. Even Mouse and Keyboard is pretty easy to fly with though.

on a side note is there any way to keep from auto-centering movement while in air-vehicles such as a helicopter or plane?

ie. If I tilt forward, the heli won't tip back unless I move my mouse. Auto-Center Mouse option isn't the culprit and it drives me insane having to constantly move my mouse forward to keep speed or maintain an angle.

That's called the trim of the aircraft and it can't be set in this game :-)

No I mean like if you tip your nose down with the mouse it pops back up in an Aircraft. It shouldn't do that. That's not trim (to my knowledge).

Naw it is trim. In a way, anyhow.. Trim is what is used to stabilize movement of an aircraft when subjected to irregular winds or lift/drag, and it basically angles itself to naturally counteract the previously mentioned winds, freeing the pilot from having to fight the aircraft itself in order to stabilize. Although, technically different, it us very much the same concept :p

flying is pretty tough for me because the turning and rolling messes me up. I'm not perfect but that's my excuse

Yes same concept but different. Trim is for example what you use to maintain level flight without having to be constantly on the yoke. What I'm talking about is forcing me to maintain level flight.

Sorry. Coming from ArmA and flight sims, having a lack of control frustrates me especially since I loved mouse control in ArmA so much. In there For example, you didn't just leave your mouse to hover, you had to tweak it and such so you were actually level. The game didn't do that for you. It does in GTA V and I was hoping I could turn it off somehow.

Yeah I feel ya man, having some sort of Persistent control option would be a-freakin-mazing. Personally I'm stuck with a keyboard and mouse, so when flying (or any sort of vehicle control) in-game, I have the same diversity of options and range of control over my steering that I would have had flying in GTA3 with a Pre-Analog DualShock PS controller. Throttling isn't to difficult, unfortunately the "pedal to the metal, or dead stop" approach doesn't translate well with say, pitch.. or.. roll... or yaw.. hah
