Enjoy being banned. Rockstar doesn't care if you're single player or not.

Except they don't mind modding in singleplayer, which they stated.

You sure about that straight from rockstar q&a "We have always appreciated the creative efforts of the PC modding community and we still fondly remember the awesome zombie invasion mod and original GTA map mod for GTAIV PC among many other classics. To be clear, the modding policy in our license has not changed and is the same as for GTAIV. Recent updates to GTAV PC had an unintended effect of making unplayable certain single player modifications. This was not intentional, no one has been banned for using single player modifications, and you should not worry about being banned or being relegated to the cheater pool just for using single player PC mods. Our primary focus is on protecting GTA Online against modifications that could give players an unfair advantage, disrupt gameplay, or cause griefing. It also bears mentioning that because game mods are by definition unauthorized, they may be broken by technical updates, cause instability, or affect your game in other unforeseen ways."

they stated a few other things to and went against there word.:csgoskull: also they stated single player mods will get you:csgogun: banned.:csgogun: especially if you don't make a backup and play a fresh copy when online as any modified files are detected in the install you are using while making any net connection to rockstar..ex singlesavegame.. possibillities would also increase if in a solo lobby then more in invite only then more in friends then more in public..ect.then... bam also they have been know to ban those youtubers that upload a video of them doing a exploit.. like car duplication ect.. also
:csgox::vaultkey:i don't think its appropriate to put links or support modding here in the steam discussions if rockstar has taken a stance against it so harshly... i think this could lead to others loosing there accounts by half reading and thinking this is an acceptable practice when it is not!:vaultkey::csgox:

What they say, and what they've done, are clearly very different. People were banned for using FOV mods in single player.

I don't know how exactly the FOV mod works, but I presume it's a dll, which injects some sort of code into the game? If you keep that around when going online, then yes, you will get banned, no matter if you've actively used it or not.
There are obviously also more than enough people around that are blatantly lying about what they've actually used online.

also they stated single player mods will get you banned
If you use anything online, actively or not, then yes, but purely using mods in singleplayer will not get you banned.
also they have been know to ban those youtubers that upload a video of them doing a exploit.. like car duplication ect..
So? Those are exploits. They have nothing to do with modding.
i don't think its appropriate to put links or support modding here in the steam discussions if rockstar has taken a stance against it so harshly.
They haven't. They clearly stated that it's ok to use mods in singleplayer, but not online.

you take your chance. my first account has been banned for a hacker throwing money on me.. which i didn't expect and was a complete noob. i was still in awe from being teleported half thinking it was lag and then i was frozen and burried under pink.ladie.helpers. and then boom money bags all while i was trying to figure out how to record with the rockstar editor or w/e its called which btw sucks for recording whats actually happening on screen in this situation..:cfacepalm:

I have read up on it quite a bit and there official statements have been pulled off the net repeatedly and altered and rereleased.. just to disappear again.

:csgoskull::vaultkey::csgogun:now its a very legal sounding statement saying any altercations.. they reserve the right to do what ever they want..:csgogun::vaultkey::csgoskull:

Look it's ScriptHook, the crook.
BloodShotN8 2015 年 5 月 13 日 下午 2:14
rockstar has not clearly said anything except that last bit between the skull i wrote..

i assume tho if your not using your install u play online with and are playing in some offline mode.. your allright. but if they run a sweep on you.. while your connected even with single..
your not going to be in the clear. also if they check your logs vs. savefile and see any discreprancys.. ur busted.. also as other youtubers have been banned just for publicizing anything that changes the game in any way.. regarless of mod,cheat,exploit,glitch.. you may be putting your account at risk. personally I would be blurring out all your identifying info in the videos. unless your like me and you just buy a new account when they unjustly ban you.

sorry man. censorship works fast i guess. land of the free-ly giving rights away both digitally and IRL. just so you know i'm not like taking rockstars side.. its not right what they have done. there are many diffrent ways they could have handled the going on's of late. Many which could have been better. I'm very frustrated with them. but I still don't think we should make it easier for other ppl to get banned.
Bookshelf 2015 年 5 月 13 日 下午 2:32
These people wont drop it, they wont and havent been banning people for single player mods only multiplayer and anyone who claims they arent were either banned or ignorant.

We have a long-standing policy on posting copyrighted Rockstar Games material over at the Rockstar Support website, and to make things clearer on this front, we’ve just added a bulletpoint about this particular type of content there. Just like our other long-standing rules about not posting pre-release leaked footage, spoilers or entire in-game television content episodes – anyone who posts videos that encourage and promote ways to cheat your way towards gaining illegitimate RP or counterfeit in-game money or duplicating in-game items without having earned them may have their videos flagged for takedown with YouTube. Thank you again to everyone in the community (and especially the hardworking and creative GTA YouTube community!) for helping to bring this matter to our attention. Thanks also to everyone in the community for your ongoing efforts since the launch of GTA Online in reporting glitches, bugs and exploits to us via the Support website – it’s invaluable information that helps inform fixes in Title Updates and via dynamic tuning to help keep GTA Online as fair as possible for everyone. :czombie: just read this on rockstar.. so .. legalities
