Can't buy clothes in Story Mode

No clothes stores are on my map/radar, and if I find one myself and enter it nobody's working the registers

Buying clothes in Online works fine, though

I think you need to play a certain mission to unlock them; it may be the one where you play as Micheal and need to buy a gilet to get into LifeInvader

Nah, you should be able to buy clothes the moment you gain control of a character in free mode, I remember in the PS4 version decking Franklin out to look like an afro sporting pedophile and it looked hilarious in this one cutscene early game but I've already passed that point and still can't buy clothes

I know barbers unlock real early, when Lamar gives Franklin some hate about his hair haha, but I'm pretty sure clothes stores don't unlock for a while?

I can buy whatever clothes are available at Ammu Nation stores, but that's about it

Will play up to that mission with Michael, I know the one, see if it lets me buy clothes then

Seems like that did the trick, I remember being able to buy clothes a lot earlier, so my memory must've failed me

doenst matter stupid game don't save clothes your chars have different clothes on later

During certain segments of certain missions some map icons will disappear and those locations become unusable until the mission is completed. Had the same issue.

The clothing during missions will vary and when you enter another character they are usually wearing something different from when you left them. I just hate when Trevor wakes up in a field with only his stained underwear on.
