Switch Off Engine

Hi All

Can you turn off the cars engine whilst still sat inside. This would make it a lot more realistic.

Simpel Native Trainer for GTA IV has that option, so even if it's not in GTA V, a mod will take care of it.

My thoughts exactly. In GTA 4 I used to sometimes just like being Stationary, listening to the radio.I know that probably sounds strange to some, but I just found the stations entertaining. However you couldnt turn off the ignition and just leave the radio playing, whilst in the car. If in GTA 5 they could implement it, so you could shut off the engine, but still have the radio going it would be great.

No. And once you get the game you'd wish the engine would always be on, because unlike GTA IV, the characters ALWAYS shuts off the engine, so you have to spend 3 seconds starting your car every time you need to make a quick getaway.

oof, i wish this was a feature because say you are in a mission and you wanna hide from the cops, you could turn off the engine when you press X (X is used to duck down in car).

nah would be nice, thought the SAME yesterday. its nice to sit in car and listen music for couple of mnutes.

there isnt a way to do it while inside but if you turn everything off( headlights,radio.etc) then once you get out it will turn off even if the car isn't yours
