And now you wait two more months for nothing. It will be less than $30 by summer.
#1 on top sellers list which won't guarantee much more than a 10-15% discount during the steam summer sale down the road. Maybe you'll see some better hits around the Winter sale when it goes to say...20%?
50 thousand... it's kind of sad compared to that number...
I would expect more than that, but since it's already spread out amongst other platforms and doesn't offer THAT much over a current gen console release, it really only appeals to the PC enthusiasts and PC only gamers. The number of people who own PS4's and Xboxes are probably a very small minority of the people who will buy on PC. Of course all we have are guesses so who knows, could be in the tens of thousands, could be in the millions. I don't think it will be a mere 50k copies though. More people buy and play PC games than people tend to estimate.
Now this is not taking into consideration that some people bought h1z1 premium. I'm also assuming that my top sellers list is the same in every region (which I believe it isn't but maybe I'm wrong). You also have Chinese versions of GTA 5 which were traded, along with other regions selling copies, but I'll ignore that since H1Z1 has a pretty low price in RU too.
Also there is no way of knowing how many people bought it off steam. I said at least 50k (on steam) will probably be playing this game at launch but could be much more.
1 billion? lol. I'm sure thats a typo. I think GTA V has sold around 40 million copies, which is still incredible.
