Age restriction GTA V

Hey everyone,

Im planning on getting GTA 5 for PC which will certainly use the social club client. My account on there however says im 14, which is my actual age. I was curious whether I could redeem my code and play GTA 5 on my account which says I'm 14 since the game is rated 18. Do I have to create a new account? Or can I just redeem the code and perfectly play it? Maybe you guys have experience with that from GTA 4 or something.

Thank you all for your thoughts on this, I will create a new account and redeem the code on there. And no, I'm not going to wait until I'm 18, why should I? My parents gave me permission to play it.....
