What happened when you die online?

Do you have to pay a hospital fee or anything like in game? What happens if we have no more money and die are we kicked from online play unless we buy more money using microtransactions from rockstar?

thanks in a lets play vid I saw of GTA V the player was complaining how the car would vanish and rockstar made you buy more ingame money to get it back from their cash shop. That is good news.

I just answered that they cant steal anything if you dont have it on you,so its smart to put your money in a bank

no you keep your items what you hear from other people saying that you lose items is false
but you do lose some ammo but it depends on what ammo
for example lets say you have 7 gerandes in your invatory and your holding one you lose that gernade in your hand thats how it goes if your going to gta 5 on the pc,xbox one , or ps4 i'll show you around and help you out and tell you the basics.

but you can get it back if you kill the players who takes it (or beat everyone to it).
On the 360 you could also make private and solo servers,
I assume we would be able to do the same on pc.

ahhhh interesting thanks for the info on how this server thing works, shame they made it so people can take whatever money you carry, guess this way people buy more from the cash shop.

Adding to Juan, you lose abit of money from your bank as well if you die.
If the guy manages to ♥♥♥ you up and steal your wallet money, you lose 500-1000 depending on how much money you have.
When you die, you dont respawn at the hospital, you respawn somewhere very near from your last death-point. If you die, players may also be able to destroy your vehicle unless you have some sort of modification. If your vehicle DOES get destroyed by a player, the player will have to pay for your damages ( 11,000 dollars ), and you'll get your car back free. You can also call a mechanic to drive your car over to you for free so you dont have to drive a mile or two just to pick it up. EITHER WAY, There's something called Passive mode so you can just chill out without anyone killing you, unless they run you over or something.

You can also set some settings on who's able to enter your car, so people who are not your friends or in your crew (guild, alliance, however you want to call it. in gta it's called a crew) will not be able to enter it. Which can be rather usefull when just enjoying the sights of los santos.

Only people with to much money and no sence of accomplishment buy in the cash store (from my point of view), I like to earn my money through missions and other regular stuff. The microtransactions are just a easy fix, but it basicly gets you nowhere. Because you still need to do missions to level up and unlock everything.

All you do with microtransactions is buy in-game money. If your car is impounded and you don't collect it, or another player destroys it, you need to call a service I don't remember the name of on your in-game phone a pay a fee of in-game money (super cheap, my car is only like $2000, chump change), unless a player destroyed it in which case they pay for the repair. You don't have to buy money at all, it's not that hard to get a lot of cash playing missions with friends and you can't buy everything until higher levels anyway.

I'd like to clarify that insured vehicles will NEVER (or atleast they shouldn't) disappear or be removed permanently unless you explicitly tell the game, either through selling it or replacing it with another, for it to be removed.
