For us who live in EU, we may purchase it on amazon.

For instance, in France it only cost 45 euro.(60euro on steam)

It is much cheap than steam version. While on amazon.uk it will cost 35 GBP.

These copies can't be activated on steam. But I guess it doesn't matter that much. Since GTA requires social club for online playing, I guess there is nothing related to steam-works. If you want to share screenshots with your steam friends, I guess maybe we can add retail-GTA as a non-steam game to steam lib, then we can share screenshots on steam.

PS, recently there are a lot of game,with steam activation code on amazon much cheaper than those on steam. I have ordered some games on amazon and I believe that Valve should change the prices in Europe.
