why on earth did you put a 970 with such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cpu? you will not get much more than half of what your card is capable of in some areas.

I am in the process of upgrading my PC but I just wanted to know if it would run until i get my new CPU (planning on getting an FX 8350)

Reporting my build to help out. Radeon HD R7 250X 1GB 128-bit paird with 8GB DDR3-1300 and a AMD A6 5600k DualCore 3.9GHZ. Running Win 8.1 with the new beta AMD drivers.

I am currently running on Med-High with 35% Draw and 25% crowd desnisity and on 1440X900 @ 36/42 FPS and it's smooth and buttery with High Reflect, Medium Water, Normal Detail, Low Blur, Medium Shadows, and rest of the minor settings to med. 1680X1050 is doable but drops my FPS to around 25-30.

I am so shocked at how my 4 year old build deals with this massive game. On medium it totally blows the 360's detail level away and I get near to zero lag of any sort, like one time during a twin helicopter crash and a swarm of speeding cars caused a drop to 20 fps.

you dont have enough vram to even come close to maxing everything out
