How much lower will the GTA V player count go?

It was inevitable that the player count would drop, but will it stay in the top 10 for a while longer? It is now neck and neck with TF2 in terms of current players at least. Just a few weeks ago, it was miles ahead. For a short period of time it was actually below TF2 on the charts today, which made it number 4. At this current rate, it seems that it could easily opt out of the top 10 pretty quickly (peak at release 360,761, peak today 80,432). but the real question is- are there enough dedicated GTA online players to sustain an active community for quite sometime? It's obvious a good portion of the players who've stopped only were in it for the story mode. I hope the community does stay active for a long time and I also hope (which I doubt will ever happen) that R* will bring in mod support.. because look at Skyrim, if it weren't for the mods the game wouldn't even be even somewhat relevant on steam. Anyways, post your thoughts here, tell me what you think.

Yeah hackers are killing it. Tired of seeing everyone die on the server at once, chrome buzzards, etc etc

I never play online...

Way too many hackers, ridiculous loading times, and I feel like what's the point...?

I mean heists aren't fun at all, they are a boring grind, there isn't much enjoyable content at all... and what do you spend your hard-grinded money on? Vehicles that will get you thrown into a bad sport lobby for using them? More places to store said useless vehicles? Online feels very half-baked, and single player isn't that much better.

You have seen anything of Online mode with lvl 40 or anything in this range, so why go further and get sick about broken matchmaking, cheater etc ... Heist, sry only with friend frustration lvl with randoms is to high. There are so many other games out there with better Multiplayer and Cheatprotection.
