everytime i start a

CONTACT MISSION

(NOT A HEIST / SETUP so dont confuse those)

my char takes off his Fox mask.. which annoys me a little

at least in cutscenes after a cutscene my char puts his mask back on
or when lapdance in club is over or when i stop drinking he also automaticly puts his mask back on

so why the hell he takes his mask off when starting a contact mission?

Because in the roleplaying of the missions there are specific points when you are told to put a mask on, and it wouldn't make sense if you already had one on.

That's what R* would tell you, at least. The real reason is because online heists were a rushed afterthought so they didn't bother.

2 different things
contact missions dont require masks at any point
heists and setups do

I'm not trolling you. Masks are heist content. There is no need for them on missions so you can't use them on missions. I'm shocked this is a difficult concept for you.

I've also had the same issue. Oh and like K.A.T.Z said, contact missions and heists are two completely separate things.

I think it really just comes down to general bugs with online, often in missions I find the opacity of certain haircuts changes, ties, masks and gear become unequipped, crew emblems from vehicles disappear...there's just a variety of issues.

As far as I know there isn't any way to permanently keep it on, however using the Interaction menu (default hotkey: M) and going to your inventory to change your equipped outfit, mask and gear is a short term solution, even if it is a lot of hassle to do all the time.

And that's why masks don't work in missions. They are for heists, so R* doesn't care if they work for missions or not. Thank you for backing up my point.

If having a mask is so important, just save it as an outfit and then select that outfit once the mission loads.

(You can select it from the quick menu/inventory or whatever it is called.)

First of all Animal masks are "IM NOT A HIPSTER" content not heist content
secondly you moron YOU CAN WEAR masks during contact missions problem is char takes them off at start so i have to put them back on every time.

Masks were put in for heists. Heists were delayed several times. You still are incorrect, and you're still getting mad about things online.
