In other words, does it fix something or do you just prefer it without the red x?
Me too. Especially if your fighting a few. A lot of times i have shot a cop and he has fallen over. I thought he was dead and turned away only to have him laying on the ground still shooting, lol!
I like the red x as you know for sure the enemy you are fighting is dead.
you can repaint the red crosshair texture to white inside the gfx file.. the problem is, i don't know which texture control which crosshair... A lot of the crosshair is broken into small parts inside the gfx file and its kinda confusing to search for the right one..
You can find it with trial and error (change texture in editor, put it inside the gta v , boot the game and see if you change the right texture, if you change the wrong texture then repeat from step 1)... But i guess i just don't have the time and patience to do that :)
