GTA V Online: How do you actually use the dot sights/scopes via rifles?

Hello, in Online..... I purchased a scope on my assault rifle... However, In first person when I right click it doesn't actually use the scope and is instead, just a basic zoom. Is there a specific hotkey?

Scroll your Mouse Wheel up while aiming to zoom in.

In First Person it raises the sights.

Only the sniper riffle set (Sniper Riffle, Heavy Sniper, Marksman Riffle) use the actual scope-view.

The assault riffle set just use a zoom. In first person it does do the animation where you look trough it, but it's still just a basic zoom.

I'd use them but even with shooting maxxed out there's too much weapon sway.

I use controller and so you just aim with the left trigger and then click the right thumbstick to aim down sights or if you are using mouse, its the scroll button.
