How do I get into the Military Base?

I have a daily mission I need to steal a car in the Military base... I follow the road and there is a guard and I bash through the baracade but the gate that has stop on it... I can't break through it...

Can you grab it with a transport heli?

The gates won't open from the outside because it's a secure facility. If you drive around the north of it, you'll find ridges to jump a vehicle in or you can jump the cliff over by the highway tunnel. You can also grab an aircraft from one of the other airports to fly in. If you have the ability, you can call Lester to have to cops ignore you for a short time as long as you don't act aggressive towards people inside the base. It's pretty much the way most people "rent" a Laser jet.

I got this daily the other day. Stole a helicopter then called Lester to bribe the cops, landed the chopper next to a Lazer, got out, running towards the Lazer, bang died. Apparently I was killed by the tail rotor blade of my chopper. LMAO

There's a concrete wall next to the entrance gate that I just parked a truck against and hopped over (although I wouldn't recommend it - a 4 star wanted level on foot had me DOA before I could even react :P).
