I think he means this isn't a straight port like the usual, lazy way when a developer does the bare minimum required to get the game to run on another platform. You know, those ports that don't even offer custom graphics settings, or still have in-game prompts for console controls, that sort of thing.
Rockstar actually took their time so GTA V can take advantage of PC hardware and the latest GPUs, and I'm grateful for that.
Aye, but to match the criterias of the pc community they still have a long way to go... We're still stuck on console based matchmaking systems and getting grouped randomly all over the world which is a pain in the ass to be honest.
Thank you another person who knows that this is not a port. and yes it would be way more enjoyable as long as your make sure your pc is capable of running it well.
Before GTAV came out on PC there was proof posted somewhere on the net that showed GTAV PC version is the master version of the game people had found things like files for the PC versoin on the 360 disc etc showing that they were a port of the PC version to consoles not the other way around. look it up im sure u will find said information

With those specs, do you think I could run the game with better graphics and a 60fps framerate? I know the textures wouldn't be as sharp at 1360x768, but would it be enough to run it on medium or high or better, with 60fps?
