yes. the tires make no difference to speed at all. however offroad tires make curbs less likely to spin you out or affect the handling of whatever you are driving. it helps a bit on the armored kurama.

I've seen videos of this but I don't think it's still in-game. When you look at the vids of people showing it working the car doesn't bump up into the air when going over curbs. Try that on PC now and you bump up into the air every time. If you have video evidence that I'm wrong from a video that wasn't made a year ago I'd be interested, but if it's just "well I think it's still working" then meh, you can try it on any supercar and see for yourself that it isn't.

The difference seems to appear more prominently for me with my zentorno. As proven too, driving on curbs will help go a teeny faster. And off road tires seem just to glide over them at high speeds, while other wheels sometimes lost a little control. But in-all, off road tires will not make a significant difference in races, as same with the Adder vs. Zentoro argument and others, it really all comes down to the driver.

They affect handling
Bad_Marduk May 20, 2015 @ 1:21pm
off road tires add traction.

it is tested myself

Off road tires do NOT add traction. They only make your car better at going over curbs, pavements and potholes. But they don't change any stats. So you won't miss out on the best lap time if you get different tires.

next time google and youtube!

The Answer is YES YES YES

here the video where you can see whats the only difference between wheels

the only thing is offraod going smoother over curbs and yes this is true and on soem cars who brake easy out this is very helpful like the turismo on cars who like the adder or zentorno for example its not necessary

Need to check off-road tires with SUV car or Insurgent, does it help for them? Because sometimes you can't drive start driving from an angle on a cliff when even Kurama can with stock tires.

but is it just off road tires that give this bonus or does every tire give different bonus?
Like tuner gives some while high end gives nothing when it coms to curbs, potholes etc

just from personal experince putting off road tires on my kurama makes going over small bumps/crubs at least 75% smoother then really flatwall tires that it initally had.

just off road tires, doesn't really matter what type since they are all the same size I think. Barely anything about tires changes preformance. There's a big racing sub-culture in GTA Online, they'd know if things improved preformance and list them out.
