Should Kids Play GTA V?

Games have age ratings for a reason. Gracious violence, Swears and many more are the reason these exist, but many children ignore them anyway. Now i'm 13 years old and have played very few of such games. My favorite of these is Batman Arkham City, but not because its violent, but for its fantastic story and excellent gameplay. But i've seen kids about 7 staring their beady eyes at the manual for GTA V, and saying "I remember that bit in the sewers". Kids are also the reason many peoples experience in Online is ruined, because these kids are blowing players up and what not. Now this drops the question: Should Kids be allowed to play GTA and other adult games?

Now I will admit I want to play this, but only for Online. I also just want to freely explore the world of Los Santos and let other players have fun as well. I don't really want to pick up prostitutes and all that, I just want an amazing world to explore and do challenges in. I don't want it to be "cool" like other kids play it for so they can be like "EYE BLEW UP A PLAYERZ LOL M8". I started playing some more mature games at 11-12 but someone I knew played a GTA game when they were just 3. Now playing at that age (especially with some content) has that kid brainwashed, so much so that when COD Ghosts (or whatever) was released, they got the game at the midnight release, completed single player and got to level 50 online.On a school night. Now he is probably lying but if thats true, then there's one person to blame for the children playing those games: The Parents.

This isn't the first time Parents have been responible for contriversial actions. One little action by them almost destroyed the Batman franchise (Two Words: Joel. Schumacer) and now they're letting their kids play all these games, even though they might not be ready for such content.

So overall, should parents let their kids play GTA V? It depends on the maturity of the child. Now I would say no to the single player campain as there is a LOT of dodgy stuff in there, but as long as the kid isn't just another troll, then i would say online is ok. But thats opinion.

Children under the age of 17 should not be allowed to play ANY online game simply due to the vulgar, profane, sexist, and racist language they are 100% guaranteed to be exposed to while playing.

I still remember back in the day when I played on Xbox 360... Literally every single online game I played had some prepubescent snot nosed brat spewing the most vulgar (and often extremely racist) trash talk through the mic.


As far as single player, most M rated games shouldn't be played by children. However if a kid's parents really don't care about them enough to monitor what they're exposed to, then who am I to say what they do offline.


Keep them out of online games though. Just hearing a prepubescent whiny voice in-game instantly angers me and makes me want them kicked from the server.

Everyone is born ♥♥♥♥. What is wrong with nudity? The people who have an issue with nudity are brainwashed dolts still conforming to some outdated religious ideals. Does a ♥♥♥♥♥ video game avatar create a lack of self control for you? The game has no more violence than an episode of the Walking Dead. The game is already rated M, or 17+, 18+ depending on your specific location.

With that said i let me kid play a heavily modded GTA4 and solo sessions of GTAV. If he misbehaves i pull it from him. He has never even talked back to me once.

Also there is zero scientific evidence of video game violence leading to real world violence, in fact the opposite has been discovered true. Video games do not make people violent, period. There is not a single shred of evidence to support that nonsense.

The altruis cult are no longer completely ♥♥♥♥♥, both online and single player. The game is already AO, isn't it? In Australia it is.

It's rated M by the ESRB. Some of the cult members were completely ♥♥♥♥ the last time I went there, which was not long ago.

also the biggest thing is that if you know its a strip club and you dont have to see ♥♥♥♥♥ women then you should be ok. but i rarely see ao on a game, and i never see it at any local game store.

PC is the only thing that matters. Most the console port accounts ♥♥♥♥ as bad as new people. Even with auto aim assist. And i still have your time in game beat with all your console crap combined. Also if you bought this game for 3 different systems, i have not a single shred of respect for you.
