Shader Mod Gets You Banned Online?
I am curious and I would like to know, if I may use a graphical shader mod online. What I am asking about is not to fear that I could receive another ban the next day.

Do you know any better?

Mods are not allowed online. Stop trying to make it happen. Just let it be.

Yes you will as Rockstar stated you cant use mods online as it may effect others and give the user an advantage, but you can still use it in Single Player

Rockstar's statement about "still being able to use mods in singleplayer" does not genuinely trustworthy.

Just to let you know, I had been banned for using a mod in singleplayer, that's why I was asking.

Yet myself and many others haven't? Sounds fishy?

The mod files were still in the GTA V folder, but could not use them in multiplayer as the official Scripthook V declines the use of mods in GTA Online. And, due to the uproar of other users - I did not change that in the files?

I had merely used a vehicle controller mod to turn off the engine in singleplayer. But that's that, the thread is not meant to discuss, whether I did get banned for that or not. Or do I have to remind someone?

Shader mod won't just get you banned, it'll get you permabanned. Superpermaultramegazordbanned. And that's worse than regular banned. Don't risk it. Be safe. Buckle up.

I wonder about this as well. Some say stuff like sweetfx won't get you banned (Rockstar also implies graphical mods are fine) while others seem to imply it could since it deals with a .dll.

It's probably not worth trying until Rockstar fully clears this up.

I dont think you can get banned from playing in single player. I've been doing it for quite a while ( about 6+ months) with shaders and a mod menu (simple trainer+ maps and stuff) and most GTA V youtubers do it too in singleplayer and I dont see them getting banned.

There is an anti-cheat that detects those files. You have to remove those files before playing online. I've gotten banned for that before. I took my singleplayer mods ONLINE and THATS what got me banned for the first time!

some mods use dinput8 and scripthook. these are sometimes used online and R* will ban you for having them in your game dir when going online.

um if you use menyoo and your game crashes while you are using it it says something like this "mods are not allowed to use in online!" that might be the reason for your "ban" in singleplayer

if you really want to use mods in online just download and install fiveM
